CEED 2016 Exam was conducted by IIT Bombay on behalf of Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Govt. of India for those candidates who want to pursue Master of Design (M.Des) study at IITs. CEED 2016 is an all India qualifying common entrance test to get an admission to Master of Design (M.Des) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur, and Ph.D. programmes in Design in some institutes.
